3 Fun Frozen Treats

Summer is hot and can be humid, so treat your kids and their friends to some frozen delights.

Here are 3 frozen treats to fit your child's delight:

Note, before getting started, you will need popsicle molds or you can make your own using plastic cups and craft sticks. All measurements are to make three frozen treats.

Fruit Pop

To begin, gather your materials such as a mold, your choice on fruit, almond milk, honey, and a mixing bowl. Next, in the mixing bowl add 2 cups of the almond milk and a table spoon of honey and mix until the honey is completely dissolved. Pour the mixture into your mold and add the fruit of your choice. Feel free to add more than one fruit into your treat. Set the molds in the freezer to freeze the liquid to create your frozen treat. Allow them to sit overnight.

Soda Pop

Gather all materials needed such as molds, soda of your choice , and gummy bears, or other preferred candy. Place gummy bears in the mold to start. Then, evenly distribute 2 cups of soda into 3 molds. Let the treats sit overnight in the freezer to allow them to freeze properly.

Shark Attack Pop

First gather the needed materials such as the molds, clear soda (example: Sprite), blue and red food dye, shark gummies, a tooth pick, and a mixing bowl. In the bowl mixing bowl mix together 1 1/2 cups of clear soda and 2 drops of blue food coloring. Then, place a shark gummy in each mold and evenly distribute the (now) blue soda in the molds. Allow the molds to sit for about 20 minutes in the freezer before taking them out. Then, add a drop of red food dye near the shark. Take a tooth pick to mix in the red drop slightly to create the effect of blood. Place the molds back into the freezer and allow them to sit overnight.
