National Brain Injury Institute is now helping patients in all 50 states

Over 3 million people a year suffer a traumatic brain injury. Over 90% of those are categorized as mild. "Mild" mostly means there's no proof on the MRI of the debilitating symptoms, so hence, there is no money to cover the badly needed care. That's over 2 million people a year who no longer need to suffer. The difference this is making in people's lives is humbling.

Many of those suffering from brain injuries that have gone undiagnosed are children. Using an MRI to image the brain is how it's been done historically. We might as well have been taking photos with an old Polaroid Instant Photo Camera. It was pointless as it did not allow the microscopic view to prove the damage that we now have available to us.

Lawyers are just now finding out about this and they can help their clients now that they have objective proof of the injury-proof that then correlates with the symptoms of the injured party.

The reason was the proof of injury was not showing up on a traditional MRI. MRI's were invented to show tears in tendons, not burst neurons and nerve fibers in the white matter tracts of the brain. Speak to your attorney for a good reference.

You should speak to a neurologist near you about your concerns. The story of the patients that are now able to prove the injury associated with the symptoms is compelling. We can get several patients to speak with you as well. Imagine the 21-year-old young man in Arizona who suffered for three years with a head injury that couldn't be proven. And not only did the new study prove the injury, his insurance company then covered the cost of what was/is a permanent traumatic brain injury.

If Multi-million dollar athletes have a concussion protocol. Everyone in America should be given the same opportunity for care. There is a movement to help millions of people.

With the FDA Approved Imaging Technology sitting around for over 20 years, the 3D imaging of areas of the brain that were heretofore too small to show up on a traditional MRI will be are certainly impactful.
