No matter how you are celebrating, the holidays are all about being thankful for what you have and who you have in your life. Create lasting memories around the table with a holiday-inspired cheese plate.

Build the cheese plate yourself? Here is an easy step-by-step guide to building a timeless cheese plate, “that Signature Plate”, which is sure to impress all your friends and family and bring joy to your holidays. For an easy, stress-free cheese plate prep, follow the steps below and place the ingredients in their designated areas using the image guide. If your feeling creative, arrange the cheese plate in any way that inspires you! Remember, have fun and enjoy the process of creating your signature delicious cheese plate!

Step I - Add lots of Cheese:

After choosing a board to decorate, begin by arranging your cheese plate with a wedge and some cut up cubes of Original, Lite or Special Reserve Cheese. For a little extra fun, make some extraordinary cheese fondue (recipe below)! With it’s smooth and silky consistency, extraordinary versatility and mild and nutty flavor, your cheese fondue is a sure party pleaser, making the perfect addition to your holiday cheese plate.

Step II - Add something salty and sweet:

Because of its mild and buttery taste, the cheese flavor profile tends to pair best with sweet and tart ingredients as well as marbled charcuterie. For that salty flavor, add some mouthwatering marbled salami, black olives, and cornichon pickles to the cheese plate. Next, add in candied citrus, fresh figs, and jam for those sweet, fruity notes.

Step III - Add some Crunch:

It’s true, everyone loves a good crunch in a cheeseboard, especially for dipping purposes, and nothing goes better with the cheese fondue than a hearty, crispy dark bread such as Rye, Pumpernickel, or Multigrain. Also, add in a little extra crunch with yummy crackers, pistachios, and pecans!

Step IV: Decorate

No cheeseboard is complete without some festive garnishes! Top off the perfect holiday cheese plate with sprigs of rosemary and pomegranate seeds.

Step V: Serve with a Festive Drink and Enjoy!

The combination of sweet, salty, crunchy and cheese-y with the aromas of the festive herbs will leave your friends and family hanging around the table, sharing in heartfelt moments that they always remember!
