What We Watching on Christmas Day

Going to the movie theatre or staying home to stream movies, Christmas Day is a great choice for binge-watching. Either while you wait for the turkey to finish cooking or after your belly is full, watching some good movies over the Christmas break is a great choice. Your teenagers will love the downtime too!

Here are the movies that Grow will be watching this Christmas break;


Little Women

Following the lives of four sisters, Amy, Jo, Beth and Meg, as they come of age in America in the aftermath of the Civil War. Though all very different from each other, the March sisters stand by each other through difficult and changing times.

Elf


This is an annual favorite! Buddy (Will Ferrell) was accidentally transported to the North Pole as a toddler and raised to adulthood among Santa's elves. Unable to shake the feeling that he doesn't fit in, the adult Buddy travels to New York, in full elf uniform, in search of his real father. As it happens, this is Walter Hobbs (James Caan), a cynical businessman. After a DNA test proves this, Walter reluctantly attempts to start a relationship with the childlike Buddy with increasingly chaotic results.

Home Alone - The Original

Who hasn't seen this movie? The movie was first released 25 years ago and has been a smash hit since. Recently the creator of the movie spoke about how they always wanted the movie to be a "Christmas" movie, it sure was and we are looking forward to watching it again this year as a family!


Spies in Disguise

Super spy Lance Sterling and scientist Walter Beckett are almost exact opposites. Lance is smooth, suave and debonair. Walter is not. But what Walter lacks in social skills he makes up for in smarts and invention, creating the awesome gadgets Lance uses on his epic missions. But when events take an unexpected turn, Walter and Lance suddenly have to rely on each other in a whole new way. And if this odd couple can't learn to work as a team, the whole world is in peril.
